- Clinical enquiries received by 4pm will get a response from the practice team by close of play on that day.
- Clinical enquiries received after 4pm will be responded to by close of play the next day
These enquiries will be triaged by the senior clinical team and the most appropriate appointment will be offered based on clinical need - Prescription requests should be made via the NHS app
- We require 48 hours to process prescription requests
- Within 48 hours of a prescription request we will either prescribe or notify the patient that we need further information
- We do not send texts to confirm that a prescription has been sent to a chemist. After 48 hours please contact your chemist to check that it is there
- Actions arising from Hospital Letters require 10 working days to process
- Results ordered by practice staff require 10 working days to process
- If the patient enquiry is regarding a private or NHS provider outside of the practice you may be advised to contact that provider
- Prescriptions and actions suggested by any private provider to the practice can only be actioned if they fall within local NHS guidelines. These can take up to 10 working days to assess and process
- Non NHS Forms and letters can take up to 4 weeks to process. This is not part of GP contracted work. Priority needs to be given to NHS workload.
- Subject Access Request (SAR) also known as medical records request can take up to 4 weeks to process
- We are not an emergency service and may redirect you to 999 if we decide it is medically necessary
- We do not provide any dental services
- We do not undertake any shared care prescribing with private providers
